'FRC's Peter Sprigg blistered during CNN interview' and other Monday midday news briefs

This is what happens when a journalist does his/her homework. If this keeps up, the Family Research Council will be doing a "Sarah Palin" and only appear on Fox News:

I cannot understand why CNN continues to put these hate group leaders on tv. Was the KKK continually interviewed on the radio and tv during the 1920s, 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60s as a Christian rights group? Sheesh.

I wish the host had concentrated on gay scouts, and not their leaders. Gay kids are statistically at much greater risk than straighs, and telling them that they are not good enough to be scouts, that they are broken, sick and second rate inevitably adds to their burdens and increases the rate for things like drug use, suicide, and running away from home.

Ideas censored gained power. Ideas publicly shown to be lies have no power.

And oruboris - I totally agree with you.
