Tony Perkins to LGBT teens: You're immoral, it won't get better, 'disgusting' to say it will - So according to Tony Perkins and the Family Research Council, keeping lgbtq teens from hating themselves and contemplating suicide is a bad thing, but distorting credible science and using junk science against the gay community in the name of God is a good thing.

I'm actually quite curious what Nancy Reagan would say about this. While it's not my wish to drag her into such a volatile political battleground, my guess is a strong public rebuke from her would be a stunning blow. While my guess is she would side with the bullied, does anyone have a better idea who she would support? Think it's worth attempting to get her true thoughts on this, showing her that awful letter and letting her decide what she wants to say about it?

Dear Tony Perkins, Thank you for providing a public example of what exactly the "It Gets Better Project" is fighting. You're it. Rude, hateful, unhinged, demoralizing, unsupportive of kids, and a big stupid jerk. It's like you were trying to help the "It Gets Better" project by providing more reasons for it to exist. GOOD JOB!
